Scott Wilson in Australia

Scott Wilson Group plc, with over 6000 members of staff globally, provides sustainable, integrated solutions to meet the planning, engineering, management and environmental needs of clients across the transportation, property, environment and natural resources market sectors.

The Group has doubled in size over the past few years and from its UK headquarters currently controls a worldwide network of 80 offices, of which 40 are in the UK. The main international centres are located in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, SE Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Southern Africa.

The Group established an Australian office in Brisbane in September 2007. An additional permanent office has since been opened in Sydney. The initial focus of the Australian operations has been in the rail sector with a variety of projects having been undertaken for major clients including QR, Rio Tinto and Bovis Lend Lease.

During 2008 the Scott Wilson's Australian service offering has expanded rapidly with the addition of a Planning and Environment team based in Brisbane and a Maritime team based in Sydney. This growth is set to continue over the short to medium term as a result of an external and internal recruitment drive as well the ongoing augmentation and diversification of the local service offering.

The Australian offices work closely with the group's international centres of excellence to ensure that our clients have access to Scott Wilson's full international service lines with a focus on bringing together the best and brightest people for each and every project.
